Not your usual trip report: TXL to LHR, July 2007 |
Trip report by John in Melbourne | This is my first trip report, so I hope I'm starting it in the right place in AFF. On the 10th of July, 2007, I was in Tegel Airport waiting in a departure lounge for a BA flight to London. I'd just spent 8 days in Berlin, sharing a holiday flat with "B" a friend from Melbourne. |
Q: Where did you go on your last trip? |
A: Austin, Texas for the F1 Grand Prix last year. Of course in AFF style I flew there via JFK New York and home via SEA and ICN.
|
Q: Where will you go when the current travel bans are lifted? |
A: I would like to travel back with my wife to see a friend in Colorado USA for a week.
|
Q: What's one piece of advice you would give to a new AFF member? |
A: Introduce yourself and contribute when and where you can! The AFF community is always growing and ready to assist you. As you learn, you can also give back to other new members.
|
Q: Favourite thread on AFF? |
A: Of late, the forum I enjoy is the Wine Lovers forum, and in particular the Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals thread. I thoroughly enjoy chatting through new vintage releases and reading different bargains members come across. I do also keep my eye on the threads around Virgin Australia, Singapore Airlines and Alaska Air as they have been 3 of my most used points programs over the past 4-5 years for travel.
|
Q: Favourite wine? |
A: I love red wine! Always look forward to the Wendouree annual release and anything Standish.
