The final Work contract. In Tasmania of course.
Trip report by drron | The time has come the walrus said to think of other things. Yes my working days will be coming to an end in December. I began my locum career on 16/12/06 and will finish on 18/12/21 just before my 75th birthday. As luck would have it I will be working in Launceston for that time. It will make it nearly 6 years that I have worked in Tasmania in those 15 years. read more...
AFF Member Profile
This week we interviewed AFF member Zanzara from Melbourne. Zanzara joined Australian Frequent Flyer in 2005 and has so far made 176 posts.

Q: Where did you go on your last trip?
A: Moorea and Papeete, French Polynesia (Tahiti). I had booked with Qantas points to Taiwan and South Korea, all J class, but due to COVID raging there at the time had to cancel. At short notice booked to go to PPT (via AKL) J class instead. It was an awesome and really memorable trip. Used QF out and NZ back to connect onto TN and VT. Arrived back into MEL and escaped having to quarantine by just a couple of hours.

Q: Where are you planning to go on your next trip?
A: I have travelled a lot. Even to some hard to get to places such as Easter Island, Patagonia, Reunion (using mostly points of course). But, after visiting Charleston and Savannah, Georgia a couple of years ago I want to go back. Booked as soon as I could using KrisFlyer miles flying into IAH. J class of course :)

Q: Favourite airline?
A: Singapore Airlines. The business class seats are truly completely flat. No hype. Service is understated but always, always, always impeccable. Transferring in SIN is easy. Everything works and is seamless.

Q: What's one piece of advice you would give to a new AFF member?
A: Be flexible to get to where you want to go.
