Featured AFF Member Trip Report
The last flight on Australia's busiest international route
Trip report by dajop | Well, after a stressful week trying to work out exactly what to do, the decision that all international arriving passengers will be bused to accommodation for two weeks from midnight, hastened the decision to temporarily return to Australia, working remotely for the time being (well continuing to work remotely, like I have been for the last two weeks in my Singapore apartment anyway). read more...
AFF Member Profile
This week, we interviewed AFF member pauly7, who joined Australian Frequent Flyer in 2004 and has so far made 4,845 posts.

Q: Where did you go on on your last trip?
A: LIV-LOU (From my living room to my lounge room, with a stop over in the hallway!). I've been grounded for a while now, but my last trip was MEL-LST-MEL on a QantasLink Q400, one of my favourite aircraft to fly.

Q: Where will you go when the current travel bans are lifted?
A: Holidaying at home to support our local tourism industry and economy. They will need all the help they can get. Tasmania first, for sure. Can't wait!

Q: Favourite airline?
A: Domestically - Qantas, I fly a lot for work all over the place and their network covers all bases for me. Internationally - Emirates, Cathay Pacific and Qantas. They all get me where I need to go for work and look after me very well.

Q: What's one piece of advice you would give to a new AFF member?
A: What is right for you and your flying patterns/goals is going to be different to everyone else. So don't worry about about what the crowds think, do what's right for you.

Q: Favourite thread on AFF?
A: The more factual threads, with some of the more business minded members are amongst my favourites! The robust discussion on VA's future has been really interesting in this thread: Virgin Australia Financially Secure?
