AFF Member Profile
This week we interviewed AFF member AisleSeat from Melbourne. AisleSeat joined Australian Frequent Flyer in 2016 and has so far made 1,299 posts.

Q: Where did you go on your last trip?
A: That was in 2019. We road-tripped to South Australia in late winter/early spring and spent a week in and around McLaren Vale.

Q: Where will you go when the current travel restrictions are lifted?
A: We had a big family trip with my parents all booked for New Zealand in 2020 to celebrate some milestone birthdays, so I'd still like to do that.

Q: Favourite airline?
A: I'm going to say Qantas for this one. I haven't had a bad experience with them and when Mrs AisleSeat and I have flown long-haul with our small kids, the flight attendants have been fantastic.

Q: What's one piece of advice you would give to a new AFF member?
A: My dad has this little proverb he always says after loading the car to the airport (which I started doing myself): "Checklist! Passport, tickets, wallet, phone, keys. Everything else you can buy when you're there." I think it's a nice positive mindset to have when you're about to start a journey; not sweating the small stuff. That said, it has not been foolproof.

Q: Favourite thread on AFF?
A: At the moment it's the How do you store your wine thread. I'm finally getting round to refurbishing a 60 bottle wooden modular rack I bought 3 years ago off eBay and am reading up on what storage solutions other AFFers have.
