AFF Member Profile
This week, we interviewed AFF member Ansett from Melbourne. Ansett joined Australian Frequent Flyer in 2011 and has so far made 3,588 posts.

Q: Most recent flight?
A: My last flight was to Adelaide for work, flying Qantas.

Q: What's still on your bucket list?
A: One place I have always wanted to go to is North Korea. I enjoy experiencing different cultures & regimes and, well, I guess one can't get much more different than North Korea.

Q: What's one thing you would never travel overseas without?
A: Google Translate on my mobile, it has been my saviour several times.

Q: What's one piece of advice you would give to a new AFF member?
A: When travelling, take your time. Get to know, understand and respect the people and cultures, which is often very different to at home. Understand this and you will enjoy your experiences so much more.

Q: Favourite thread on AFF?
A: With so many excellent threads, it is hard to choose! An absolute favourite would have to be Ask The Pilot, which gives a great insight into so many different aspects of flying. It increases the respect that I have for those Guys and Gals that get us to our destination safe and sound. To give up so much time and effort into responding to members' questions is selfless and shows the reason why AFF is such a great forum - so many people giving up knowledge and time to assist fellow members in learning and getting the most out of the journey that is flying.
